No, by the moon! 32 And the night when it withdraweth 33 The morning when it is unveiled, 34 This is but one of the mighty (portents), 35 as a warner to mortals. 36 to whoever of you desires to go forward or lag behind. 37 Every soul will be in captivity for its deeds 38 Except those on the right side. 39 who will be in Paradise 40 From the guilty. 41 What has brought you into hell? 42 They said, “We never used to offer the prayer.” 43 and neither did we feed the needy; 44 We plunged in with the plungers 45 And we used to deny the Day of Judgment, 46 until the inevitable event overtook us.” 47 Then the intercession of the intercessors shall not profit them. 48 What is the matter with people that they are turning away from this Exhortation, 49 As if they were affrighted asses, 50 Fleeing from a lion? 51 Nay, but everyone of them desireth that he should be given open pages (from Allah). 52 No indeed; but they do not fear the Hereafter. 53 No indeed; surely it is a Reminder; 54 Then whoever wills will remember it. 55 And they will not heed unless Allah willeth (it). He is the fount of fear. He is the fount of Mercy. 56
