The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
22 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Sun (Al-Shams) before The Fig (Al-Teen)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
I swear by the mansions of the stars, 1 By the promised Day (of Judgment); 2 And the witness and the witnessed, 3 Cursed were the people of the ditch (the story of the Boy and the King). 4 The people of the fuelled blazing fire. 5 Behold! they sat over against the (fire), 6 And they, to what they were doing against the believers, were witnesses. 7 whom they hate for no other reason than that they believe in God, the Almighty, the One to whom all praise is due, 8 Whose is the kingdom of the heavens and the earth; and Allah is a Witness of all things. 9 Those who persecuted the believing men and women and never repented, there is for them the punishment of Gehenna (Hell), and for them the punishment of the burning. 10 Surely for those who believe and do the right are gardens with rivers running by. That is the greatest success. 11 Indeed the seizure of your Lord is very severe. 12 it is He who begins and repeats [His creation], 13 And He is the Fogiving, the Loving, 14 Lord of the Throne, the All-glorious, 15 Doer of what He will. 16 Hast thou received the story of the hosts, 17 [Those of] Pharaoh and Thamud? 18 And yet, they who are bent on denying the truth persist in giving it the lie: 19 But Allah doth encompass them from behind! 20 Nay! it is a glorious Quran, 21 (Preserved) on the guarded tablet. 22
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
