Al-Hijjr 2 of 6
It is We Who have set out the zodiacal signs in the heavens, and made them fair-seeming to (all) beholders; 16 And We have guarded it from every Satan damned. 17 Except one who comes to eavesdrop – therefore a bright flame goes after him. 18 And We spread out the earth, and placed mountains as anchors in it, and in it grew all things by a proper measure. 19 and provided thereon means of livelihood for you [O men] as well as for all [living beings] whose sustenance does not depend on you. 20 There is not a thing but its storehouses are with Us. But We only send down each thing in an appropriate measure: 21 And We send the winds fertilizing, then We send down water from the heaven and We give it to you to drink, and thereof ye could not be the treasurers. 22 It is We who give life and We who give death, and We are the One who will abide. 23 We surely know those of you who go forward and those of you who lag behind. 24 Assuredly it is thy Lord Who will gather them together: for He is perfect in Wisdom and Knowledge. 25
