They ask you concerning the mountains: "Where will they go?" Say: "My Lord will scatter them like dust, 105 And leave it as an empty plain, 106 with neither crookedness nor any curving to be seen therein' 107 That Day, everyone will follow [the call of] the Caller [with] no deviation therefrom, and [all] voices will be stilled before the Most Merciful, so you will not hear except a whisper [of footsteps]. 108 On that Day, intercession shall be of no avail [to any] save him in whose case the Most Gracious will have granted leave therefor, and whose word [of faith] He will have accepted: 109 He knoweth that which is before them and that which is behind them, and they encompass it not with their knowledge. 110 ۞ on that Day all faces shall be humbled before the Living, Self-Subsisting One. Those burdened with evil deeds will come to grief, 111 but whosoever does righteous works, being a believer, shall have no fear of suffering wrong or loss." 112 And thus We have sent it down as an Arabic Qur'an and have diversified therein the warnings that perhaps they will avoid [sin] or it would cause them remembrance. 113 Exalted then be God, the real King; and do not try to anticipate the Qur'an before the completion of its revelation, but pray: "O Lord, give me greater knowledge." 114 We made a covenant with Adam before you, but he forgot, and We found him lacking in constancy. 115
