Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By oath of those which carry away while dispersing. 1 And the clouds bearing a load. 2 and those that speed along with gentle ease, 3 And those that distribute and apportion by Command;- 4 Indeed, what you are promised is true. 5 and the Day of Judgment will inevitably take place. 6 By the heaven with its passages, 7 Certainly, you have different ideas (about Muhammad SAW and the Quran). 8 though only those who are averse to the Truth will turn away from (believing in it). 9 Destroyed are the falsifiers 10 Who are in a gulf (of ignorance) neglectful; 11 they who [mockingly] ask, "When is that Day of Judgment to be?" 12 The day they will be burnt in the Fire, 13 [and will be told:] "Taste this your trial! It is this that you were so hastily asking for!" 14 As to the Righteous, they will be in the midst of Gardens and Springs, 15 Receiving what is given them by their Lord. They were surely the virtuous before this. 16 They used to sleep but little of the night, 17 And in the hours before dawn they would ask forgiveness, 18 and in their wealth was a share for whosoever asked and for whosoever was prevented. 19 And in the earth there are signs for those who are sure, 20 And in your own selves; so can you not perceive? 21 And in the heaven is your providence and that which ye are promised; 22 By the Lord of the heaven and the earth, it is certainly the truth. It is as true as your ability to speak. 23
