And the heaven, We raised it high with power, and most surely We are the makers of things ample. 47 And the earth – We spread it out, and how well have We smoothed it! 48 And of everything We have created pairs, that you may remember (the Grace of Allah). 49 So flee to Allah. Indeed, I am to you from Him a clear warner. 50 And do not ascribe divinity to aught side by side with God: verily, I am a plain warner to you from Him!" 51 Even thus no apostle came to those before them but they said: "He is a sorcerer or a mad man." 52 Have they (the people of the past) transmitted this saying to these (Quraish pagans)? Nay, they are themselves a people transgressing beyond bounds (in disbelief)! 53 So leave them, [O Muhammad], for you are not to be blamed. 54 And advise, for advice benefits the Muslims. 55 And I have not created the jinn and mankind but that they should worship Me. 56 I desire from them no provision, nor do I want them to feed Me. 57 Surely Allah is the Bestower of all provision, the Lord of all power, the Strong. 58 And verily, for those who do wrong, there is a portion of torment like to the evil portion of torment (which came for) their likes (of old), so let them not ask Me to hasten on! 59 Woe to the disbelievers when the day with which they have been threatened comes! 60
