▼ 55 The All Compassionate
Al-Rahman 3 of 3
And for him who fears to stand before his Lord are two gardens. 46 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? - 47 Of spreading branches. 48 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?- 49 With two springs of water flowing through them both. -- 50 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 51 therein of every fruit two kinds -- 52 Which of the favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? -- 53 Reclining upon couches lined with silk brocade, the fruit of both the gardens near to hand. 54 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 55 Wherein both will be those (maidens) restraining their glances upon their husbands, whom no man or jinn yatmithhunna (has opened their hymens with sexual intercourse) before them. 56 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?- 57 Lovely as rubies and pearls. 58 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 59 Can the reward of goodness be any other than goodness? 60 How many favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? -- 61 And beside the two there will be two other Gardens. 62 jinn and mankind - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny 63 Densely covered with foliage, appearing dark. 64 Which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 65 In both of them live springs gush forth. 66 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 67 In them will be Fruits, and dates and pomegranates: 68 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 69 Therein (gardens) will be fair (wives) good and beautiful; 70 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 71 Maidens (of Paradise, Houris) in cloistered cool pavilions. 72 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 73 There hath deflowered them neither man nor jinn. 74 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 75 [In such a paradise will they dwell,] reclining upon meadows green and carpets rich in beauty. 76 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 77 Blessed be the name of thy Lord, Mighty and glorious! 78
True are the words of God the Almighty.
