Man is prone to say: "Shall I be raised to life after I die?" 66 Does not man remember that We created him before, while he was nothing? 67 And so, by thy Sustainer, [on Judgment Day] We shall most certainly bring them forth together with the satanic forces [which impelled them in life] and then We shall most certainly gather them, on their knees, around hell; 68 Then We will most certainly draw forth from every sect of them him who is most exorbitantly rebellious against the Beneficent Allah. 69 We alone know who deserves most to be burned therein. 70 And there is none among you who shall not pass over hell; this is an obligatory affair, binding upon your Lord. (Allah will make everyone pass over the back of hell – on a thin bridge.) 71 Then We shall rescue those who kept from evil, and leave the evil-doers crouching there. 72 And when Our verses are recited to them as clear evidences, those who disbelieve say to those who believe, "Which of [our] two parties is best in position and best in association?" 73 How numerous are the peoples We destroyed before them - those that were more resourceful and grander in outward appearance! 74 Say: "If any men go astray, (Allah) Most Gracious extends (the rope) to them, until, when they see the warning of Allah (being fulfilled) - either in punishment or in (the approach of) the Hour,- they will at length realise who is worst in position, and (who) weakest in forces! 75 And Allah increases in guidance those who go aright; and ever-abiding good works are with your Lord best in recompense and best in yielding fruit. 76 Have you seen him who denies the truth in Our revelations and says, "I shall certainly be given wealth and children." 77 Has he looked to the unseen, or has he made a pledge to the Merciful One? 78 Nay! We shall record what he says, and We shall lengthen the length of his suffering [in the hereafter,] 79 And We shall inherit from him that whereof he spake, and he will come unto Us, alone (without his wealth and children). 80 And they have chosen Gods besides Allah, so that they may provide them strength! 81 In fact, they can have no honor; their gods will renounce their worship of idols and will turn against them. 82
