1/4 Hizb 35

And the chiefs of his people who disbelieved and called the meeting of the hereafter a lie, and whom We had given plenty to enjoy in this world's life, said: This is nothing but a mortal like yourselves, eating of what you eat from and drinking of what you drink. 33 If you were to obey a human being like yourselves, you will certainly be losers. 34 Does he promise you that after you die and become dust and bones you will be brought back to life again? 35 ۞ Such a promise will never come true. 36 There is no life beyond our life in this world: we die and we live [but once,] and we shall never be raised from the dead! 37 "He is only a man who invents a lie against Allah, but we are not the ones to believe in him!" 38 [Whereupon the prophet] would say: "O my Sustainer! Succour me against their accusation of lying!" 39 [And God] would say: "After a little while they will surely be smitten with remorse!" 40 So the (Awful) Cry overtook them rightfully, and We made them like as wreckage (that a torrent hurleth). A far removal for wrongdoing folk! 41 After them We produced other generations 42 Every nation has an appointed life span. 43 We then sent our Noble Messengers, one after another; whenever a nation’s Noble Messenger came to it they denied him, We therefore united the succeeding with the old, and made them history; so far removed be the people who do not believe! 44 Then We sent Moses and his brother Aaron with Our miracles and clear authority 45 To Fir'aun (Pharaoh) and his chiefs, but they behaved insolently and they were people self-exalting (by disobeying their Lord, and exalting themselves over and above the Messenger of Allah). 46 They said: "Shall we believe in two men like ourselves? And their people are subject to us!" 47 So they denied them therefore became of those who were destroyed. 48 And indeed We gave Moosa the Book, that they may attain guidance. 49 And We made the son of Mary and his mother a portent, and We gave them refuge on a height, a place of flocks and watersprings. 50

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
