Q (Qaaf)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
Qaf. By the Glorious Qur'an, 1 Nay, but they marvel that a warner has come to them from among them; and the unbelievers say, 'This is a marvellous thing! 2 Shall we be brought back when we are dead and have become dust? That is a return remote! 3 We know that which the earth taketh of them, and with Us is a recording Book. 4 In fact they denied the Truth when it came to them, so they are now in a dilemma. 5 Do they not look at the sky above them?- How We have made it and adorned it, and there are no flaws in it? 6 We stretched the earth and placed upon it firm stabilisers and We made every kind of splendid thing to grow upon it 7 An insight and a Reminder for every slave turning to Allah (i.e. the one who believes in Allah and performs deeds of His obedience, and always begs His pardon). 8 And We send down from the sky blessed water whereby We give growth unto gardens and the grain of crops, 9 And tall date-palms, with ranged clusters; 10 as a provision for human beings; and by [all] this We bring dead land to life. Such shall be the Resurrection. 11 (Others) before them rejected (prophets): the people of Nuh and the dwellers of Ar-Rass and Samood, 12 And the tribe of 'Ad, and Pharaoh, and the brethren of Lot, 13 And the dwellers in the wood, and the people of Tubba; each one belied the apostles, wherefore fulfilled was My judgement. 14 Did We, then, become worn out by the first creation? Not at all; but they are in doubt about a fresh creation. 15
