۞ How many-so-ever be the angels in the heavens, their intercession will avail nothing except after Allah has given leave for whom He pleases and that he is acceptable to Him. 26 Behold, it is [only] such as do not [really] believe in the life to come that regard the angels as female beings; 27 although they have no knowledge regarding that. They only follow their conjecture and conjecture can never take the place of the Truth. 28 Therefore shun those who turn away from Our Message and desire nothing but the life of this world. 29 That is their attainment of knowledge. Surely thy Lord knows very well those who have gone astray from His way, and He knows very well those who are guided. 30 And Allah's is what is in the heavens and what is in the earth, that He may reward those who do evil according to what they do, and (that) He may reward those who do good with goodness. 31 As for those who avoid the [truly] grave sins and shameful deeds - even though they may sometimes stumble behold, thy Sustainer is abounding in forgiveness. He is fully aware of you when He brings you into being out of dust, and when you are still hidden in your mothers' wombs: do not, then, consider yourselves pure - [for] He knows best as to who is conscious of Him. 32
