The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
The (Day) of Noise and Clamour: 1 What is the striking (Hour)? 2 And what could make thee conceive what that sudden calamity will be? 3 The day that men shall be like scattered moths, 4 And the mountains will be like wool, fluffed up. 5 Then he whose scales weigh heavier 6 He shall live a pleasant life. 7 But he whose balance (of good deeds) will be (found) light,- 8 his shall be the deep pit for a dwelling. 9 And what have you understood, what the one that abases is! 10 A flaming fire! 11
