Say thou; my Lord! if Thou wilt shew me that wherewith they are threatened. 93 “Therefore my Lord, do not group me with the unjust.” 94 And indeed, We are able to show you what We have promised them. 95 Repel evil by what is best; We know best what they describe. 96 And say: 'O my Lord, I take refuge in Thee from the evil suggestions of the Satans, 97 and I take refuge in Thee, O my Lord, lest they attend me.' 98 (They shall persist in their deeds) until when death comes to anyone of them he will say: "My Lord, send me back to the world 99 so that I may do good works in the world I have left behind." Never! It is indeed but a meaningless word that he utters. A barrier shall stand behind such people till the Day they are raised up again. 100 And when the trumpet is blown there will be no kinship among them that day, nor will they ask of one another. 101 Then those whose balance (of good deeds) is heavy,- they will attain salvation: 102 And the ones whose scales prove light – it is they who put their lives into ruin, remaining in hell forever. 103 The Fire will scorch their faces, and therein they shall be grinning. 104 Were not My messages recited to you and did you not reject them? 105 'Lord' they will reply, 'adversity prevailed over us and we were erring. 106 Our Lord! Take us out of this. Then if we revert (to evil-doing) we shall indeed be wrongdoers." 107 God will say, "Stay there and do not speak to Me. 108 Indeed, there was a party of My servants who said, 'Our Lord, we have believed, so forgive us and have mercy upon us, and You are the best of the merciful.' 109 But you took them for a laughingstock, so much so that they made you forget My Remembrance while you used to laugh at them! 110 On this day I have given them their reward for their exercising patience and it is they who have triumphed." 111 And He will ask: 'How many years did you live on earth' 112 They will say: "A day or less than a day. Ask the enumerators of numbers." 113 He will say, “You stayed but only a little, if you knew.” 114 Did you think that We had created you for a playful purpose and that you were not to return to Us?" 115 Then high exalted be God, the King, the True! There is no god but He? the Lord of the noble Throne. 116 He who crieth unto any other god along with Allah hath no proof thereof. His reckoning is only with his Lord. Lo! disbelievers will not be successful. 117 And say thou: my Lord! forgive and have mercy, and Thou art the Best of the merciful ones. 118
