Exalted is He who put constellations in the heavens, a radiant lamp and an illuminating moon -- 61 And it is He who made the night and day a succession for whom He desires to remember or He desires to be thankful. 62 (Among) the servants of the Beneficent God are those who walk gently on the earth and when addressed by the ignorant ones, their only response is, "Peace be with you." 63 Those who spend the night in adoration of their Lord prostrate and standing; 64 And those who say: "Our Lord! Avert from us the torment of Hell. Verily! Its torment is ever an inseparable, permanent punishment." 65 Indeed it is a most wretched abode. 66 And those who, when spending, neither exceed the limits nor act miserly, and stay in moderation between the two. 67 And those who invoke not any other ilah (god) along with Allah, nor kill such life as Allah has forbidden, except for just cause, nor commit illegal sexual intercourse and whoever does this shall receive the punishment. 68 Multiplied for him is the punishment on the Day of Resurrection, and he will abide therein humiliated - 69 Except those who repent and believe (in Islamic Monotheism), and do righteous deeds, for those, Allah will change their sins into good deeds, and Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. 70 And whosoever repenteth and doeth good, he verily repenteth toward Allah with true repentance - 71 (And the servants of the Merciful are those:) who do not bear witness to falsehood and who; if they have ever to pass by what is vain, pass by like dignified people: 72 And they who, when reminded of the communications of their Lord, do not fall down thereat deaf and blind. 73 And those who pray, "Our Lord! Grant unto us wives and offspring who will be the comfort of our eyes, and give us (the grace) to lead the righteous." 74 They will be rewarded for their perseverance with lofty mansions in empyrean where they will be received with greetings of peace and salutations, 75 therein to abide: [and] how goodly an abode and [how high] a station! 76 Say (O Muhammad, unto the disbelievers): My Lord would not concern Himself with you but for your prayer. But now ye have denied (the Truth), therefor there will be judgment. 77
