Alshu'araa' 6 of 11
The people of Noah rejected the Messengerss. 105 When their brother Nuh (Noah) said to them: "Will you not fear Allah and obey Him? 106 "I am a trustworthy Messenger to you. 107 So fear Allah and obey me. 108 “And I do not ask from you any fee for it; my reward is only upon the Lord Of The Creation.” 109 "So fear Allah, and obey me." 110 ۞ They said: "Shall we believe in thee when it is the meanest that follow thee?" 111 He said, "And what is my knowledge of what they used to do? 112 Lo! their reckoning is my Lord's concern, if ye but knew; 113 And I am not to drive away the believers. 114 I am only a plain admonisher." 115 They said: "If you do not desist, O Noah, you will be stoned to death." 116 Then Noah said, "Lord, my people have rejected me. 117 Therefore judge You between me and them, and save me and those of the believers who are with me." 118 We saved him and those who were with him in a fully laden Ark, 119 afterwards, We drowned the rest. 120 Indeed in this is a sign; and most of them were not believers. 121 But, verily, thy Sustainer - He alone - is almighty, a dispenser of grace 122
