The folk of Lot denied the messengers (of Allah), 160 When their brother Lot said to them, "Will you not fear Allah? 161 I am for you a faithful Messenger, 162 "So fear Allah and obey me. 163 I do not ask any payment for my preaching. I shall receive my reward from the Lord of the Universe. 164 Why do you go for males unlike all other creatures 165 "And leave those whom Allah has created for you to be your mates? Nay, ye are a people transgressing (all limits)!" 166 'Lot' they replied, 'if you do not desist, you shall be thrown out' 167 He said: Surely I am of those who utterly abhor your doing; 168 'My Lord, save me and my people from that they are doing' 169 So We delivered him and his people all together, 170 Except an old woman, among those who remained behind. 171 then We destroyed the others, 172 and We rained on them a rain; and evil is the rain of them that are warned. 173 In this there is an evidence of the Truth, but many of them did not have any faith. 174 And indeed, your Lord - He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful. 175
