Saad 3 of 5
And We did not create the heaven and the earth and that between them aimlessly. That is the assumption of those who disbelieve, so woe to those who disbelieve from the Fire. 27 Shall We make those who believe and work righteous works like unto the corrupters in the earth; or shall We make the God-fearing like unto the wicked! 28 This is the Blessed Book that We have revealed to you, (O Muhammad), that people with understanding may reflect over its verses and those with understanding derive a lesson. 29 We bestowed Solomon on David who was an excellent devotee, for he turned to God in penitence. 30 When his dressage steeds were presented to him in the evening, 31 And he said: Lo! I have preferred the good things (of the world) to the remembrance of my Lord; till they were taken out of sight behind the curtain. 32 He said, "Bring them back to me." Then he started to rub their legs and necks. 33 And, indeed We did try Sulaiman (Solomon) and We placed on his throne Jasadan (a devil, so he lost his kingdom for a while) but he did return (to his throne and kingdom by the Grace of Allah and he did return) to Allah with obedience and in repentance. 34 Saying: "O Lord, forgive me, and give me such a dominion as none will merit after me. You are the great bestower." 35 Then We subjected the wind to his power, so that it blew gently, at his behest, wherever he willed, 36 And also the Shayatin (devils) from the jinns (including) every kind of builder and diver, 37 And others fettered in chains. 38 'This is Our gift; bestow or withhold without reckoning.' 39 And indeed, for him is nearness to Us and a good place of return. 40

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
