Prostration (Al-Sajdah)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
ALIF LAM MIM. 1 The revelation of the Scripture whereof there is no doubt is from the Lord of the Worlds. 2 Or do they say, 'He has forged it'? Say: 'Not so; it is the truth from thy Lord that thou mayest warn a people to whom no warner came before thee, that haply so they may be guided. 3 It is Allah who created the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them in six days; then He established Himself above the Throne. You have not besides Him any protector or any intercessor; so will you not be reminded? 4 He plans (all) the job(s) from the heaven to the earth – then it will return to Him on the Day which amounts to a thousand years in your count. 5 Such is the Knower of the unseen and the seen, the Mighty, the Merciful. 6 who has created all things well. And He originated the creation of man out of clay, 7 Then He made his offspring from semen of worthless water (male and female sexual discharge). 8 Then He made him complete and breathed into him of His spirit, and made for you the ears and the eyes and the hearts; little is it that you give thanks. 9 And they say: "When we are (dead and become) lost in the earth, shall we indeed be recreated anew?" Nay, but they deny the Meeting with their Lord! 10 ۞ Say: "The Angel of Death, put in charge of you, will (duly) take your souls: then shall ye be brought back to your Lord." 11
