The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ GLORIFY THE NAME of your Lord, most high, 1 Who creates and proportions, 2 who has ordained and guided, 3 who brings forth green pasture, 4 then made it dry dark, flaky stubble, 5 We shall enable thee to recite, and then thou shalt not forget, 6 Save that which Allah may will. Verily He knoweth the public and that which is hidden. 7 We shall ease you to follow the way of Ease. 8 Wherefore admonish thou; admonition hath surely profited, 9 and he who fears shall remember, 10 but the most wretched shall flout it, 11 and suffer the heat of the great fire 12 Wherein he shall neither die nor live, 13 Prosperous is he who purifies himself, 14 And remembereth the name of his Lord, so prayeth, 15 But no, you prefer the life of the world, 16 Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Lo! This is in the former scrolls. 18 The scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
