The unbelievers say: "When we become dust, we and our forefathers, shall we really be brought out (from our graves)? 67 “Indeed this promise was given to us, and before us to our forefathers – this is nothing but stories of former people.” 68 Say, "Travel through the land and see how terrible was the end of the criminal ones". 69 And grieve thou not over them nor be straitened because of that which they plot. 70 And they say: when will this Promise be fufilled if ye say sooth? 71 Say, “It could be that a part of what you are impatient for is (already) after you.” 72 Indeed Your Lord is exceedingly bountiful to mankind. Yet most of them do not give thanks. 73 And most surely your Lord knows what their breasts conceal and what they manifest. 74 And there is nothing concealed in the heaven and the earth but it is in a clear book. 75 Surely this Quran declares to the children of Israel most of what they differ in. 76 And lo! it is a guidance and a mercy for believers. 77 Verily, [O believer,] thy Sustainer will judge between them in His wisdom - for He alone is almighty, all-knowing. 78 so put your trust in God. Surely you are on the path of manifest truth. 79 You cannot make the dead to listen, or the deaf to hear the call, when they have turned their backs, 80 just as thou canst not lead the blind [of heart] out of their error; none canst thou make hear save such as [are willing to] believe in Our messages, and thus surrender themselves unto Us. 81 ۞ And when the Word is fulfilled against them (the unjust), we shall produce from the earth a beast to (face) them: He will speak to them, for that mankind did not believe with assurance in Our Signs. 82
