And We verily gave grace unto Moses and Aaron, 114 and We delivered them and their people from the great distress. 115 We helped them, and they became victorious, 116 And We bestowed the clear Book to both of them. 117 and guided them upon the Straight Path. 118 and We left them thus to be succeeded by a group [of followers] among later generations: 119 Peace be upon Moosa and Haroon! 120 Thus do We reward the righteous ones. 121 Verily the twain were of Our bondmen believing. 122 Surely, Elias too was among the Messengers. 123 When he said to his people, “Do you not fear?” 124 Will you invoke Baal and forsake [God,] the best of artisans 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients' 126 But they denounced him as a liar, so they will surely be arraigned (for punishment), 127 excepting only [those who were] God's true servants; 128 and him We left thus to be remembered among later generations: 129 Peace be upon Ilyas! 130 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 131 He was among Our believing worshipers. 132 And indeed, Lot was among the messengers. 133 When We saved him and his household, every one, 134 except for an old woman who stayed behind, 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 You pass by their desolate habitations in the morning 137 and in the night; will you not understand? 138
