Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ WHEN THE SKY is split asunder, 1 when the stars are scattered, 2 the oceans are merged together, 3 and when graves are laid open, 4 every soul will see the result of its deeds - those recorded before his death and those which will produce either virtue or evil after his death. 5 O man! What has seduced thee from thy Lord Most Beneficent?- 6 Who created you, proportioned you, and balanced you? 7 In whatever shape He will He could surely have fashioned you. 8 Even then you deny the Judgement. 9 But verily over you (are appointed angels) to protect you,- 10 Kiraman (honourable) Katibin writing down (your deeds). 11 aware of whatever you do! 12 Verily the pious shall be in Delight. 13 And most surely the wicked are in burning fire, 14 They shall enter it on the day of judgment. 15 And thence they shall not be allowed to be absent. 16 What will make you realize what the Day of Judgement will be? 17 Again, what shall make thee know whatsoever the Day of Requital is? 18 It is the Day when no soul can do a thing for another soul. That Day, the command belongs to Allah. 19
