Al-Naml 7 of 7
And remind them of the Day whereon We shall gather from every community a troop of those who belied Our signs, and they shall be held in order. 83 So that when they come (before the Lord) He will say: "Did you deny My signs without having understood them? Or what was it that you were doing?" 84 And the Word will be fulfilled against them, because of their wrong-doing, and they will be unable to speak (in plea). 85 See they not that We have made the night for them to rest therein, and the day sight-giving? Verily, in this are Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) for the people who believe. 86 The day the trumpet blast is sounded whoever is in the heavens and the earth will be terrified, save those whom God please, and all will appear before Him in abjectness. 87 And you will see the mountains and think them solid, but they shall pass away as the passing away of the clouds. The Work of Allah, Who perfected all things, verily! He is Well-Acquainted with what you do. 88 Whoever shall come [before Him] with a good deed will gain [further] good therefrom; and they will be secure from the terror of that Day. 89 And whoever comes with an evil deed - their faces will be overturned into the Fire, [and it will be said], "Are you recompensed except for what you used to do?" 90 I am commanded only that I should serve the Lord of this city, Who has made it sacred, and His are all things; and I am commanded that I should be of these who submit; 91 And that I should recite the Qur'an. And whosoever receiveth guidance, receiveth guidance for his own soul, and as for him who strayeth say thou: I am only of the warners. 92 Say: "All praise be to God. He will show you His signs, and you will recognise them. Your Lord is not heedless of what you do." 93

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
