Have you not seen how your Lord lengthens out the shadow? Had He willed, He would have made it constant, but We have made the sun its pilot; 45 and then, [after having caused it to lengthen,] We draw it in towards Ourselves with a gradual drawing-in. 46 And it is He who hath made for you the night a covering, and the sleep repose, and hath made the day a resurrection. 47 And it is He, Who drives the winds to be the harbingers of His mercy: then He sends down pure water from the sky 48 That We may quicken thereby a dead land, and We give drink thereof to that which We have created of cattle and human beings many. 49 And indeed We have distributed it (rain or water) amongst them in order that they may remember the Grace of Allah, but most men refuse (or deny the Truth or Faith) and accept nothing but disbelief or ingratitude. 50 And had We willed, We would have raised a warner in every town. 51 Therefore listen not to the Unbelievers, but strive against them with the utmost strenuousness, with the (Qur'an). 52 ۞ And it is He, Who has let loose the two seas, one palatable and sweet, the other bitter and saltish, and there is a partition between them, which is an insurmountable barrier. 53 And it is He who created the human from water and gave him kindred of blood and of marriage. Your Lord is the Powerful. 54 And yet, some people worship, instead of God, things that can neither benefit them nor harm them: thus, he who denies the truth does indeed turn his back on his Sustainer! 55 But thee We only sent to give glad tidings and admonition. 56 Tell them, "I do not ask of you any recompense for this work: I only ask of the one, who will, to adopt the way of his Lord. 57 Put your trust in the All Living who never dies, and exalt with His praise, He is sufficiently aware of His worshipers' sins. 58 In six days He created the earth and the heavens and all that is between them; then He established Himself on the "Throne" (of the Kingdom of the uriverse). (He is) the Merciful: as to His Glory, ask the one who knows. 59 When you say to them: "Bow before Ar-Rahman," they say: "What is Ar-Rahman? Should we adore whoever you ask us to?" And their aversion increases further. ۩ 60
