Alshu'araa' 4 of 11

۞ And We revealed to Musa, saying: Go away with My servants travelling by night, surely you will be pursued. 52 So Firaun sent gatherers into the cities. 53 Most surely these are a small company; 54 And verily they have enraged us. 55 “And indeed we are an alert army.” 56 As such We expelled them from their gardens and their fountains, 57 And treasures and agreeable mansions. 58 Even so. And We caused the Children of Isra'il to inherit them. 59 At sunrise, they followed them. 60 And when the two hosts saw each other, those with Moses said: Lo! we are indeed caught. 61 He replied: Nay indeed! My Sustainer is with me, [and] He will guide me!" 62 So We sent the divine revelation to Moosa that, “Strike the sea with your staff”; thereupon the sea parted; so each part was like a huge mountain. 63 And We brought near, there, the others. 64 and We delivered Moses and those with him all together; 65 And We drowned the others. 66 Verily herein is a sign; but most of them are not believers. 67 Indeed your Lord is mighty and merciful. 68
