Q (Qaaf)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
By Qaf and the glorious Quran, (you are the Messenger of God). 1 But nay - they deem it strange that a warner should have come unto them from their own midst; and so these deniers of the truth are saying, "A strange thing is this! 2 When we have died and have become dust, [we will return to life]? That is a distant return." 3 We know what the earth diminishes of them; with Us is a book recording. 4 Aye! they belie the truth when it cometh unto them; wherefore they are in an affair confused. 5 What, have they not beheld heaven above them, how We have built it, and decked it out fair, and it has no cracks? 6 And the earth! We have spread it forth, and have cast therein firm mountains, and have caused to grow therein of every beauteous kind of plants: 7 as a lesson and a reminder to every penitent worshiper. 8 And We sent down out of heaven water blessed, and caused to grow thereby gardens and grain of harvest 9 And lofty palm trees having fruit arranged in layers - 10 As sustenance for (Allah's) Servants;- and We give (new) life therewith to land that is dead: Thus will be the Resurrection. 11 And before them the people of Nuh belied, and so did the dwellers of Rass and the Thamud. 12 and Aad, Pharaoh and the brothers of Lot, 13 The Companions of the Wood, and the People of Tubba'; each one (of them) rejected the messengers, and My warning was duly fulfilled (in them). 14 Were We then weary with the first Creation, that they should be in confused doubt about a new Creation? 15
