۞ So I call the placement of the stars to witness -- 75 And indeed, it is an oath - if you could know - [most] great. 76 That this is indeed the glorious Qur'an 77 in a Book protected (from tampering) 78 which none but the pure may touch; 79 A revelation by the Lord of the worlds. 80 What, do you hold this discourse in disdain, 81 And have ye made it your livelihood that ye should declare it false? 82 Why, then, when the soul leaps up to the throat, 83 the while you are helplessly watching that he is on the verge of death, 84 (And We are nigher him than you, but you do not see Us) 85 Then why do you not, if you are not to be recompensed, 86 can you not cause that [ebbing life] to return - if what you claim is true? 87 Then, if he is one of the honoured, 88 Then [for him is] rest and bounty and a garden of pleasure. 89 And if he is one of those on the right hand, 90 Then: peace unto thee, for thou art of those on the right hand. 91 But if he was of the deniers [who were] astray, 92 he will be welcomed with boiling water. 93 And burning in Hellfire 94 Verily this! this is the very truth. 95 So exalt the Name of your Lord, the Great. 96
