Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

The emulous desire of abundance engrosseth you, 1 until you visit the graves. 2 But you will come to know soon; -- 3 And once again: Nay, in time you will come to understand! 4 And yet if you knew with positive knowledge 5 You will surely end up seeing Hell; 6 Again, you shall surely see it with the eye of certainty 7 Then, on that Day, you shall be asked about the delight (you indulged in, in this world)! 8

Almighty Allah's Truth.
