The people of Noah cried lies to the Envoys 105 When their brother Noah said unto them: Will ye not ward off (evil)? 106 "I am a trustworthy Messenger to you. 107 so serve you God, and obey you me. 108 I ask no recompense of you for it. My reward is due from none but the Lord of all the worlds. 109 "So fear Allah, and obey me." 110 ۞ They replied, "Are we to believe in you when your followers are but the lowest of the low?" 111 He said, "And what is my knowledge of what they used to do? 112 "Their account is only with my Lord, if you could (but) know. 113 I will not drive away the believers. 114 “I am not but clearly a Herald of Warning.” 115 They said, "If you do not desist, O Noah, you will surely be of those who are stoned." 116 He said, 'My Lord, my people have cried me lies, 117 therefore, judge decisively between me and them; and save me and the believers who are with me." 118 We saved him and those who were with him in a fully laden Ark, 119 and drowned the rest. 120 Verily herein is a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 121 And most surely your Lord is the Mighty, the Merciful. 122
