But [let them always remember that] if We lengthen a human being's days, We also cause him to decline in his powers [when he grows old]: will they not, then, use their reason? 68 We have not taught (Muhammad) to versify, nor is it worthy of him. This is nothing but a reminder and illuminating discourse, 69 that he may warn the living, and so that Judgement may be passed against the unbelievers. 70 Observe they not that We have created for them, of that which Our hands have worked, cattle: so that they are their owners. 71 And that We have subjected them to their (use)? of them some do carry them and some they eat: 72 some for milk to drink and some from which other benefits may be received? Will they not be grateful? 73 And yet they have taken gods, other than Allah, so that they might be helped! 74 They (the appointed Gods) cannot help them; and they and their armies will come (to Us), as captives. 75 Therefore (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) do not grieve because of what they (the disbelievers) say; indeed We know what they conceal and what they disclose. 76 Has the human being not considered that We have created him from a drop of fluid. He is openly quarrelsome. 77 And he propoundeth for us a similitude, and forgetteth his creation; he saith: who shall quicken the bones when they are decayed? 78 Say: 'He shall quicken them, who originated them the first time; He knows all creation, 79 He who produces fire for you from green trees and from this you kindle fire." 80 Is not He, who created the heavens and earth, able to create the like of them? Yes indeed; He is the All-creator, the All-knowing. 81 When He wills a thing He has only to say: "Be," and it is. 82 So exalted is He in whose hand is the realm of all things, and to Him you will be returned. 83
