And remember Our servant Job, when he called to his Lord, "Indeed, Satan has touched me with hardship and torment." 41 (Allah said to him): "Strike the ground with your foot: This is a spring of water to wash in, cool and a (refreshing) drink." 42 We restored his family to him with others similar to them, as a blessing from Us and a reminder for men of wisdom. -- 43 and, 'Take in thy hand a bundle of rushes, and strike therewith, and do not fail in thy oath.' Surely We found him a steadfast man. How excellent a servant he was! He was a penitent. 44 And commemorate Our Servants Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, possessors of Power and Vision. 45 Verily We did choose them for a special (purpose)- proclaiming the Message of the Hereafter. 46 And verily they are with us of the elect of the excellent ones. 47 And make mention of Ishmael and Elisha and Dhu'l-Kifl. All are of the chosen. 48 This is a commemoration. Surely for those who take heed for themselves is an excellent place of return -- 49 Gardens of Eternity, whose doors will (ever) be open to them; 50 They will be resting therein and will be able to ask for many kinds of fruit and drink. 51 ۞ and with them maidens restraining their glances of equal age. 52 This is what you are promised for the day of reckoning. 53 this is Our provision, unto which there is no end.' 54 All of this; but, for the proud there is an ill return. 55 Hell, which they will [enter to] burn, and wretched is the resting place. 56 There will be boiling water for them and cold, clammy, fetid drink to taste, 57 And similar other punishments in pairs. 58 [Its inhabitants will say], "This is a company bursting in with you. No welcome for them. Indeed, they will burn in the Fire." 59 They will say to them, "You are not welcome! It was you who brought this on us, an evil place to stay," 60 They will continue saying, "Lord, double the torment of fire for those who led us into this. 61 And they will say: "What has happened to us that we see not men whom we used to number among the bad ones? 62 Did we take them as an object of mockery, or have (our) eyes failed to perceive them?" 63 Verily all this is true. This is how the inmates of the Fire will dispute among themselves. 64
