۞ I swear by the setting of the stars 75 And most surely it is a very great oath if you only knew; 76 Behold, it is a truly noble discourse, 77 (Inscribed) in the well-kept Book. 78 which none can touch except the purified. 79 [It is] a revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 80 Is it this Statement that ye scorn, 81 Would you reject the sustenance that you receive rather than give thanks? 82 Why, then, when (the soul) cometh up to the throat (of the dying) 83 the while you are [helplessly] looking on 84 We are closer to him than you, but you cannot see. 85 If you are true to your claim that there is no Day of Judgment, 86 Bring back the soul (to its body), if you are truthful? 87 Then, if he is one of the honoured, 88 happiness [awaits him in the life to come,] and inner fulfillment, and a garden of bliss. 89 and if he be a Companion of the Right: 90 Then upon you is the greetings of peace (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), from those on the right. 91 And if he be of the beliers, the erring, 92 Then his reception is the hot boiling water. 93 And roasting in a Blaze. 94 This is indeed an utmost certainty. 95 So exalt the name of your Lord, the Most Great. 96
