Believers, fear Allah as He should be feared, and do not die except as Muslims. 102 Hold fast together to the cable of Allah and be not divided. Remember the blessing that Allah bestowed upon you: you were once enemies then He brought your hearts together, so that through His blessing you became brothers. You stood on the brink of a pit of fire and He delivered you from it. Thus Allah makes His signs clear to you that you may be guided to the right way. 103 Let there be one nation of you that shall call to righteousness, ordering honor, and forbidding dishonor. Those are the prosperous. 104 So be not like those who became disunited and differed among themselves after clear proofs had come to them. For them is great suffering. 105 On a day whereon faces become whitened and faces become blackened. Then as for those whose faces shall have become blackened: disbelieved ye after your profession of belief! taste the torment for that ye have been disbelieving. 106 And those whose faces have turned bright, they will be in the mercy of Allah, and therein they shall abide. 107 These are God's messages: We convey them unto thee, setting forth the truth, since God wills no wrong to His creation. 108 To Allah belongs all that is in the heavens and the earth, and to Allah are all matters referred for decision. 109
