And verily, the dwellers of Al-Hijr (the rocky tract) denied the Messengers. 80 We sent them Our Signs, but they persisted in turning away from them. 81 And they were hewing out houses from mountains feeling secure. 82 the blast overtook them early one morning. 83 And what they earned did not avail them. 84 And We have not created the heaven and the earth and that which is in between them save with a purpose. And verily the Hour is surely coming; so overlook thou with a seemly overlooking, 85 Lo! Thy Lord! He is the All-Wise Creator. 86 We have given you the seven oft-recited verses and the great Quran. 87 Look not with your eyes ambitiously at what We have bestowed on certain classes of them (the disbelievers), nor grieve over them. And lower your wings for the believers (be courteous to the fellow-believers). 88 And say: Surely I am the plain warner. 89 (We have given you the Quran) as We had given (the Bible) to those who divided themselves into groups 90 Those who made the Quran into shreds. 91 Now by thy Lord, We shall surely question them all together 92 About their deeds. 93 Therefore declare openly what you are bidden and turn aside from the polytheists. 94 verily, We shall suffice thee against all who [now] deride [this message - all] 95 who set up another god with God, but they shall soon learn. 96 And well do We know that thy bosom is constricted by the [blasphemous] things that they say: 97 So exalt [Allah] with praise of your Lord and be of those who prostrate [to Him]. 98 and worship your Lord until what is certain [death] comes to you. 99
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.

عند قراءة القرآن الملون في وضعية اللغة العربية المرسومة بالأحرف الإنجليزية، قد لا تلاحظ وجود منظومة برمجية مصممة لمطابقة متطلبات علامات الوقف في النص العربي الأصلي. فكما تعلم، يحتوي القرآن على خمسة أنواع رئيسية من علامات الوقف. When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
