The Poets (Alshu'araa')

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

۞ Ta Sin Mim 1 These are the verses of the illustrious Book. 2 You may perhaps wear out your heart because they do not come to belief. 3 If (such) were Our Will, We could send down to them from the sky a Sign, to which they would bend their necks in humility. 4 But never fresh remembrance comes to them from the All-merciful, except they turn away from it. 5 They have called (our revelation) lies. They will soon learn the consequences of what they mocked. 6 Do they not look at the earth,- how many noble things of all kinds We have produced therein? 7 Lo! herein is indeed a portent; yet most of them are not believers. 8 And verily thy Lord! He is the Mighty, the Merciful. 9
