1/4 Hizb 38
< random >
The men of the Thicket cried lies to the Envoys 176 When Shu'eyb said unto them: Will ye not ward off (evil)? 177 Behold, I am an apostle [sent by Him] to you, [and therefore] worthy of your trust: 178 be, then, conscious of God, and pay heed unto me! 179 I ask of you no reward for this. My reward is with none but the Lord of the Universe. 180 ۞ Fill up the measure, and be not cheaters, 181 “And weigh with a proper balance.” 182 And do not wrong men of their things, and do not act corruptly in the earth, making mischief. 183 "And fear Him Who created you and (who created) the generations before (you)" 184 They said: "You are only one of those bewitched! 185 You are but a human like ourselves, we think that you are one of the liars. 186 So cause a fragment of the sky to fall on us, if you are truthful." 187 Shuayb said: "My Lord knows well all what you do." 188 Then they belied him; wherefore there laid hold of them the torment of day of shadow. Verily it was the torment of a Mighty Day. 189 Surely, in this is indeed a sign; but most of them would not believe: 190 And verily! Your Lord, He is indeed the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful. 191
