For everything on the earth is extinction. 26 And there will remain the countenance of thine Lord, Owner of Majesty and Beneficence. 27 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 28 All that are in the heavens and the earth entreat Him. Every day He exerciseth (universal) power. 29 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 30 We will attend to you, O prominent beings. 31 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 32 O assembly of jinns and men! If you have power to pass beyond the zones of the heavens and the earth, then pass (them)! But you will never be able to pass them, except with authority (from Allah)! 33 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 34 A flash of fire will be let loose upon you, and smoke, and you will be left without succour! 35 Which of your Lord's powers will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 36 Then when the heaven is rent asunder, and it becomes rosy or red like red-oil, or red hide. 37 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 38 So on that Day no question will be asked of man or jinn as to his sin, (because they have already been known from their faces either white or black). 39 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 40 The sinners shall be known by their mark, and they shall be seized by their forelocks and their feet. 41 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 42 This is hell, which the criminals deny. 43 between it and [their own] burning-hot despair will they wander to and fro! 44 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 45
