The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Ta, Seen, Meem. 1 These are the verses of the Book that makes things clear. 2 It may be that you (O Muhammad SAW) are going to kill yourself with grief, that they do not become believers [in your Risalah (Messengership) and in your Message of Islamic Monotheism]. 3 If We will, We can send down on them from the sky a portent so that their necks would remain bowed before it. 4 And there cometh not unto them any fresh admonition from the Compassionate but they are wont to be therefrom backsliders. 5 Indeed they have denied, so now soon coming upon them are the tidings of what they used to scoff at. 6 What, have they not regarded the earth, how many therein We have caused to grow of every generous kind? 7 Surely in this there is a sign, yet most of them would not believe: 8 Surely thy Lord, He is the All-mighty, the All-compassionate. 9
