The All Compassionate (Al-Rahman)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ The Beneficent Allah, 1 Has taught the Qur’an to His beloved Prophet (Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him). 2 He created man. 3 Has taught him the knowledge of the past and the future. 4 The sun and the moon to a reckoning. 5 the stars and the trees bend in prostration. 6 And the heaven, He raised it high, and He made the balance 7 Do not transgress the scales. 8 So establish weight with justice and fall not short in the balance. 9 And the earth has He spread out for all living beings, 10 Therein are fruits and palm trees with sheaths, 11 And the grain with (its) husk and fragrance. 12 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 13 He created the human being from clay like that used for pottery 14 and jinn from the many colored flames of fire. 15 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 16 Lord of the two easts and of the two wests is He. 17 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 18 He has set two seas in motion that flow side by side together, 19 With an interstice between them which they cannot cross. 20 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 21 From these seas come forth pearls and coral. 22 Which, of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 23 To Him only belong the sailing ships, raised above the sea like hills. 24 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 25
