The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the (steeds) that run, with panting (breath), 1 and produce sparks 2 by the dawn-raiders 3 and blaze a trail of dust, 4 Cleaving, as one, the centre (of the foe), 5 Most surely man is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 And indeed, he is to that a witness. 7 for, verily, to the love of wealth is he most ardently devoted. 8 ۞ Knows he not that when the contents of the graves are brought out and poured forth (all mankind is resurrected). 9 And all what lies in the breasts is opened 10 On that day will their Lord be perfectly informed concerning them. 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
