The Bee (Al-nahl)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ GOD'S JUDGMENT is [bound to] come: do not, therefore, call for its speedy advent! Limitless is He in His glory and sublimely exalted above anything to which men may ascribe a share in His divinity! 1 He sends the angels with revelation by His command, to any of His creatures as He please, (saying): "Warn that there is no god but I, so fear Me." 2 He created the heavens and the earth with the truth; Supreme is He above their ascribing of partners (to Him). 3 He created man of a sperm-drop; and, behold, he is a manifest adversary. 4 And the cattle hath He created, whence ye have warm clothing and uses, and whereof ye eat; 5 In them there is beauty for you when you bring them home and when you lead them to pasture. 6 They carry your loads to a land which you could not otherwise reach except by painful toil to oneself. Your Lord is the Clement, the Most Merciful. 7 And (He has created) horses, mules and donkeys, for you to ride and as an adornment. And He creates (other) things of which you have no knowledge. 8 And upon Allah it rests to show the right way, and there are some deviating (ways); and if He please He would certainly guide you all aright. 9
