The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By oath of those who establish proper ranks. 1 and restraining [from evil] by a call to restraint, 2 And those who recite the message, 3 Most surely your Allah is One: 4 the Lord of the heavens and the earth and of whatever lies between the two, the Lord of the Easts. 5 He decked the nearest heavens with ornaments of stars, 6 And to protect it from every rebellious devil. 7 The devils cannot hear those high above. They would be struck from all sides 8 and driven away to suffer the necessary torment. 9 Except one who sometimes steals a part, so a blazing flame goes after him. 10 AND NOW ask those [who deny the truth] to enlighten thee: Were they more difficult to create than all those [untold marvels] that We have created? - for, behold, them have We created out of [mere] clay commingled with water! 11 (Muhammad), you will be surprised that they still mock (God's revelations). 12 And, when they are admonished, pay no heed,- 13 And when they see a sign they incite one another to scoff, 14 And they say: Lo! this is mere magic; 15 "When we are dead and have become dust and bones, shall we (then) verily be resurrected? 16 “And also our forefathers?” 17 Proclaim, “Yes, and with disgrace.” 18 for that [resurrection which they deride] will be [upon them of a sudden, as if it were] but a single accusing cry - and then, lo! they will begin to see [the truth] 19 and they will say: 'Woe for us. This is the Day of Recompense' 20 [It will be said], "This is the Day of Judgement which you have been denying." 21
