We certainly bestowed Our favor upon Moses and Aaron 114 and saved them and their people from great distress. 115 We succoured them, and they gained the upper hand (against their enemies). 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture 117 And We guided them both on the right way. 118 And We left for them [favorable mention] among later generations: 119 Peace be upon Moosa and Haroon! 120 That is how We reward those who do good. 121 for those two were truly among Our believing servants. 122 AND, BEHOLD, Elijah [too] was indeed one of Our message-bearers 123 He said to his people, "Have you no fear [of God?] 124 Do you call on Baal and abandon the Best of Creators, 125 God, your Sustainer and the Sustainer of your forebears of old?" 126 And they denied him, so indeed, they will be brought [for punishment], 127 excepting only [those who were] God's true servants; 128 And We kept his praise among the latter generations. 129 Peace be unto Elyasin. 130 This is how We reward the virtuous. 131 he was among Our believing servants. 132 Lot was certainly a Messenger. 133 [So mention] when We saved him and his family, all, 134 Except an old woman who was among those who lagged behind: 135 We then destroyed the others. 136 You pass by them in the morning 137 And at night. Then will you not use reason? 138
