The day the enemies of God will be gathered at the Fire and the records of their deeds will be distributed, 19 and when all have arrived, their ears, their eyes, and their skins shall bear witness against them, stating all that they had done in the life of the world. 20 And they will say to their skins, "Why have you testified against us?" They will say, "We were made to speak by Allah, who has made everything speak; and He created you the first time, and to Him you are returned. 21 Not so did you cover yourselves, that your hearing, your eyes and your skins should not bear witness against you; but you thought that God would never know much of the things that you were working. 22 And that was your assumption which you assumed about your Lord. It has brought you to ruin, and you have become among the losers." 23 Then if they are patient, even then the fire is their home; and if they plead, none will listen to their pleading. 24 ۞ And We have destined for them intimate companions (of like nature), who made alluring to them what was before them and behind them; and the sentence among the previous generations of Jinns and men, who have passed away, is proved against them; for they are utterly lost. 25
