Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ WHEN THE SKY is split asunder, 1 when the stars are scattered, 2 the oceans are merged together, 3 When the graves are overturned, 4 everyone shall know all his deeds, both the earlier and the later. 5 O man! what has beguiled you from your Lord, the Gracious one, 6 Who created you, then made you complete, then made you symmetrical? 7 In whatever form He willed, He put you together. 8 Nay, but ye deny the Judgment. 9 And most surely there are keepers over you 10 Honorable recorders, 11 who know of all that you do. 12 Surely the pious shall be in bliss, 13 And verily the ungodly shall be in a Scorch. 14 Which they will enter on the Day of Judgment, 15 And they will not be able to keep away therefrom. 16 And what will make you know what the Day of Recompense is? 17 Again, what could let you know what the Day of Recompense is! 18 (It will be) the Day when no person shall have power (to do) anything for another, and the Decision, that Day, will be (wholly) with Allah. 19
