The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Exalt the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who created and proportioned 2 Who hath ordained laws. And granted guidance; 3 Who bringeth forth the pasturage, 4 then made it dry dark, flaky stubble, 5 [O Prophet!] We shall make you recite the Quran so that you will not forget any of it -- 6 Except what Allah should will. Indeed, He knows what is declared and what is hidden. 7 We shall take you slowly towards ease. 8 Therefore remind, if the Reminder benefits, 9 Those who have fear of God will benefit 10 And the most unfortunate one will avoid it, 11 Who will burn in the terrible Fire, 12 In which he will neither die nor live. 13 Lasting happiness will be for those who purify themselves, 14 And recites the name of his Lord and serves with devotion. 15 However, (the disbelievers) prefer the worldly life 16 although the life to come is better and more enduring. 17 Lo! This is in the former scrolls. 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
