Charity (Al-Maa'oon)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
Beholdest thou him who belieth the Requital? 1 Behold, it is this [kind of man] that thrusts the orphan away, 2 And does not encourage the feeding of the poor. 3 Woe, therefore, unto such performers of prayer. 4 Who are unmindful of their prayers, 5 Those who make show [of their deeds] 6 And who withholds even common necessaries. 7
