The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
I swear by (the angels) who stand in ranks, 1 By the angels driving away. 2 And thus proclaim the Message (of Allah)! 3 Verily your God is One, 4 Lord of the heavens and the earth and everything between them; Lord of the Easts. 5 We have decked the lower heavens with stars 6 and have made them secure against every rebellious, satanic force, 7 They cannot listen to the Highest Chiefs for they are pelted from every side, 8 rejected, and theirs is an everlasting chastisement, 9 Except one who snatches [some words] by theft, but they are pursued by a burning flame, piercing [in brightness]. 10 So, ask those who deny the truth if it was harder to create them than all the other things We have created? We created them from sticky clay. 11 No, you marvel, while they scoff. 12 And when they are reminded, they remember not. 13 And seek to scoff when they behold a portent. 14 And they say: "This is nothing but evident magic! 15 When we are dead and turned to dust and bones, how can we be raised again, 16 What, and our fathers, the ancients?' 17 You say: "Yes; and you will be lowly made." 18 Then it will be a single (compelling) cry; and behold, they will begin to see! 19 and they will say: 'Woe for us. This is the Day of Recompense' 20 This is the Day of Separation, which ye used to deny. 21
