So did you observe him who turned away? 33 And gives a little and (then) withholds. 34 Has he knowledge of the Unknown that he perceives everything? 35 Has not he been informed of the contents of the Book of Moses 36 And with Abraham who kept his word: 37 That no bearer of burdens will bear the burden of another 38 and that nought shall be accounted unto man but what he is striving for; 39 and that his labouring shall surely be seen, 40 Then shall he be rewarded for it with the fullest reward- 41 and that the final return is to your Lord, 42 that it is He who brings laughter and tears; 43 And He who ordains death and life; 44 That He did create in pairs,- male and female, 45 From a drop of semen when emitted; 46 and that it is for Him to grant the second life, 47 that He it is Who bestowed wealth and riches, 48 and that it is He alone who sustains the brightest star; 49 And that it is He Who destroyed the (powerful) ancient 'Ad (people), 50 and Thamud, leaving no trace [of them,] 51 and that He it is Who destroyed the people of Noah before for they were much given to iniquity and transgression. 52 And Al-Mu'tafikah He destroyed 53 So they were covered with whatever covered them? 54 About which of the bounties of your Lord can they persistently dispute? 55 He (Prophet Mohammed peace and blessings be upon him) is a Herald of Warning, like the former Heralds of Warning. 56 The Approaching Day has approached. 57 None, except Allah, can avert it. 58 Do you, perchance, find this tiding strange? 59 And do you laugh instead of weeping, 60 Indulging in pleasantries? 61 Prostrate yourselves before Allah, and serve Him. ۩ 62
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
