The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
22 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Sun (Al-Shams) before The Fig (Al-Teen)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
By heaven of the constellations, 1 and by the promised Day, 2 And [by] the witness and what is witnessed, 3 That accursed are the men of the trench 4 with fire abounding in fuel, 5 As they sat around it 6 And they witnessed what they were doing against the believers (i.e. burning them). 7 They had naught against them save that they believed in Allah, the Mighty, the Owner of Praise, 8 God to whom belongs the Kingdom of the heavens and the earth, and God is Witness over everything. 9 Verily those who affected the believing men and the believing women, and then repented not, theirs shall be the torment of Hell, and theirs shall be the torment of burning. 10 Surely (as for) those who believe and do good, they shall have gardens beneath which rivers flow, that is the great achievement. 11 Stern indeed is your Lord's punishment. 12 Behold, it is He who creates [man] in the first instance, and He [it is who] will bring him forth anew. 13 He is the forgiving and the loving, 14 Lord of the Throne of Glory, 15 Executor of His own will. 16 Has it come to you the story of the hosts 17 of Pharaoh and Thamud? 18 And yet, they who are bent on denying the truth persist in giving it the lie: 19 But God surrounds them from all sides. 20 It is indeed a glorious Quran, 21 upon an imperishable tablet [inscribed]. 22

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
